Dallas Chamber Music welcomes new Executive Director!

Fernando Aguirre joins Dallas Chamber Music on June 1 of 2013 as Executive Director. Prior to his role as Executive Director of DCM, he served as senior advocate for a firm in Washington, DC. Fernando holds a master’s of arts degree in international relations with a minor in business. He has served as lead consultant in fundraising, strategic planning, organizational restructuring and business development for many symphony orchestras in the region and with many nonprofit organizations and foundations. He brings skills and experience in diversified funding, corporate sponsorships, planned giving programs and innovate approaches for generating new revenue streams.

SLSQ This FRIDAY!

DCM welcomes the SLSQ this Friday evening, April 26, at 8 pm! The concert will be held in SMU’s Caruth Auditorium. Yes, it will be a busy week on campus with the opening of the Bush Presidential Library, but we’re on as usual. Parking is free on Bishop Blvd for concert patrons. Box Office opens at 7 pm. Complimentary coffee and cookies served in the lobby beginning at 7 pm as well. Join us for this final concert of the 2012-13 season!
